Westwood and Washington Township have merged to create one Jr Cardinals Football team. We are excited for all of our players to join together and compete from Mighty Mites through High School!
Jr Cardinals Football is now a member of BCJFL ( The Bergen County Junior Football League). This league was built with fair play and athletes first. Also in the BCJFL are the following programs: Closter, Cresskill, Dumont, Glen Ridge, Hillsdale, HoHoKus / Saddle River, Montvale / Woodcliff Lake, Northern Valley, Norwood / Harrington Park, Park Ridge, River Vale, Tenafly, and Waldwick / Midland Park. The volunteer trustees and coaches of Cardinals Jr Football have made this transition a jumping off point that will allow our program and most importantly our players to thrive and succeed. Our volunteer trustees and coaches are 100% in support of this change. Each coach had made a pledge to learn more about the game of football and to seek multiple self-development opportunities that will enhance our player’s skills and safety.
